Welcome!

You’ve come to a place where I get to share a little bit about the recreation and re-creation of the Parks family as we journey through life together as a family of six (soon-to-be seven).

I have the privilege of wearing many different hats these days.

Christ-Follower.  Wife.  Mother.  Designer.  Adoption Advocate.  Photographer-In-The-Making.  Friend.  Daughter.  Neighbor.  Aunt.  Party-Planner.  Chauffeur.  Cook.  Sister.  Music-Lover.  Granddaughter.  Housekeeper.  And the list goes on…

What’s the latest hat to add to the wardrobe?  Blogger.

I hope to wear it well.

I have not moved from my spot at the computer since I started reading this site. You have touched my heart! With every one of the “stories” I’ve read, I’m completely entranced with your writings. I can literally “see” images you speak about and can “feel” your emotion in your writings. You are so blessed and have a true talent in sharing with words some of your blessings. Thank you.

Are you from Indiana? I noticed you take your son to Riley Hospital. I am the support group leader for the OI foundation of Indiana. My cell is 7652781840. Please give me a call if we can be of any support to you. We have get togethers 3 or 4 times per year. We use Dr. Kosmos Kayes at St. Vincent POSI. He used to be the head doctor at Riley. His whole team left to go to Peyton Manning Hospital. Michelle Hoppes

I can’t wait to peruse the site and then pick your brain! I went to Liupanshui in Guizhou when I was in college and someone handed me a baby and said “take to America, take to America!” and I vowed then and there that I would come back and adopt one…Im just now old enough to start the process and in googling the city to find specific orphanage names, your blog came up. I spent the majority of my lunch break crying in my office after your fertility blog, as I’m eyeball deep in that as well! Thank you for being so open and honest and caring through this blog! We will chat shortly, I hope!
