Six Letters

February 4, 2017

family

There are 6 letters in FAMILY.

And there will soon be 6 children in ours.

Yep! Baby Parks #6 is on the way! And we couldn’t be happier!

After months of prayer and consideration, we’ve decided that we have room in our family for one more precious boy from China. Though our house is full, our hearts are full also…and ready to extend love to another little boy in need of a family.

We believe he will bring a beautiful balance to our lives.

His arrival will even up the score, so to speak. It will bring us to 3 sons and 3 daughters. And it will bring us to 3 children who came to us through the miracle of birth, and 3 who came to us through the miracle of adoption.

I can remember telling Bryan, shortly before we were married, that I wanted 4 children. He told me he wanted 2 children. Instead of giving one of us our desired number, I guess God thought it would be better to simply add our numbers together, and give us that number instead.

Now, that’s some pretty cool math, if you ask me.

Prayers for the long journey ahead would be greatly appreciated, friends. They’ve carried us through in the past, and we will rely heavily on them, once again. Thanks so much (in advance) for your prayerful support. It will mean the world to us!

Let the adventure begin…
