Puzzles & Progress

Last summer, I put a puzzle in front of him for the first time and he just sat there with a blank stare and a gaping mouth.  He had no idea what to do.

Last week, I sat and watched him put that same puzzle together over and over again in his bedroom…laughing, smiling, and chattering as he did.

Because he’s had so many physical setbacks due to his disease, I’m sometimes guilty of failing to see the progress that is being made in other areas.  As he sat there putting together that puzzle last week, I couldn’t help but take note of it.  It was so plain to see!

Had to pull out the camera and capture it, of course 😉
