Stretching & Tangling

September 12, 2013

Some days this whole waiting game is easier than others. The past two days haven’t been easy for some reason. Not exactly sure why. I guess it could have something to do with the fact that we have been at a standstill now for 60 days….and that we are completely at the mercy of USCIS.  As our paperwork sits on someone’s desk (waiting for someone to simply look it over and issue us one little piece of paper so that we can move forward) a little boy across the ocean sits and waits.

We are growing to love him more and more each day. The more that begins to happen, the harder this wait will become, I suppose.

I’ve heard it said that the invisible red thread leading us to our Chinese children will stretch and tangle, but it will never break. What I’ve been feeling these past couple of days must be the stretching and tangling….

Just remember, usually when it is quiet and things are at a standstill, that is when God is working behind the scenes like crazy! During this time, find peace in the stillness, hear joy in the quiet and anticipate in love the explosion of God’s favor in HIS perfect time!!!
